Do you have an anthroposophical background, love books, and would like to gain experience in publishing? Come and join the friendly Floris team in our Edinburgh office for an on-the-job overview of the publishing process in a small company.

“Floris is forty this year and as part of our ongoing commitment to the anthroposophical community we are delighted to be able to offer these unique work placements” — Katy Lockwood-Holmes, Publisher.

Floris Books is beginning a rolling programme of six-week paid work placements intended to give those with an anthroposophical background experience of the publishing industry. The programme starts in July 2016, running throughout 2016 and 2017, and dates are flexible to suit successful candidates.

Placements can be tailored to the interests of the individual candidate but will primarily focus on work in the sales and marketing department. Typical tasks will include writing online content, creating sales ebulletins and designing adverts.

We are looking for confident candidates with an excellent grasp of the English language and an interest or background in anthroposophy, including (but not limited to) Steiner-Waldorf education, biodynamics, The Christian Community and Camphill.

So if you’re a recent graduate or considering a career change and would like to explore the world of anthroposophical publishing, we would like to hear from you!

The application form and full details of the placements are available on our recruitment page.
