Floris Books is currently recruiting for the following role: Sales & Marketing Executive

We are an Edinburgh publishing company specialising in non-fiction and children's books. We are looking for a full-time Sales & Marketing Executive with a least one year's relevant experience. The job is based in our Edinburgh office and would ideally start in June 2013.

Does Floris Books offer work experience placements or internships?

We welcome interns to the Floris team: we recruit annually for placements lasting for an academic year (sorry, current university/college students only). Unfortunately we are unable to offer internships at other times, or for secondary/high school students. Intern placements are advertised on this page, and on Twitter and Facebook.

Does Floris Books work with freelancers?

All our key functions -- editorial, production and marketing -- are handled inhouse, so we rarely use freelancers for that type of work. However, we sometimes use freelance translators and illustrators. If you think your illustration style might fit our list, please email floris@florisbooks.co.uk with a link to your blog or online portfolio. Please don't send illustrations in the mail, or as attachments to emails.
