Description

Christmas is coming but Anna and Michael's village is cut off by deep snow. They're worried that Santa Claus won't reach them, so they send him a special wish.

Santa Claus hears their wish, and brings the village a surprise. Can the neighbours work together to reach their Christmas gift?

This is a gorgeously illustrated Christmas story about hope and community spirit, with a dash of traditional seasonal magic from much-loved illustrator Maja Dusíková.

Reviews

'This is a beautiful wintry story [...] about the power of community -- and a cup of tea!'
-- JUNO Magazine

'Illustrated with warm and hazy paintings that remind of traditional Christmas tales.'
-- Foreword Reviews

'Watercolors in soft focus lend an intimacy to what reads like a folktale, with little animal friends in the illustrations for young children to find. A sweet message about the meaning of Christmas giving.'
-- Kirkus
