Author

Kristina Sigunsdotter is an award-winning Swedish author, artist and playwright with a BA in ethnology, English and journalism. She is the recipient of the August Prize, Sweden's most prestigious literary award and her books have received international acclaim. She was elected to the Swedish Academy for Children's Books in 2024 and she lives in Malmö, Sweden.

Maria Löfgren is a Swedish illustrator, graphic artist and animator and the creator of several children's books including My Grandma the Chameleon. Maria loves designing illustrations where the reader can discover new details with each reading. She lives in Hörnefors, Sweden.

Ian Giles is Chair of the Translators Association in the UK. He has over a decade of experience as a book translator working from Swedish, Norwegian and Danish into English, across many genres. He lives in Edinburgh, UK.
