Description

An updated and revised omnibus edition, this insightful book comprises two formerly separate works: Mentoring in Waldorf Early Childhood Education edited by Nancy Foster and Professional Review in Waldorf Early Childhood Education edited by Holly Koteen-Soulé. Together they offer Steiner-Waldorf teachers wisdom and practical guidance on the processes of mentoring and professional review.

Part I: Mentoring in Waldorf Early Childhood Education covers a range of helpful topics for teachers in their role as a mentor, including the role of advice in mentoring, accountability and the art of fruitful conversation.

Part II: Professional Review and Evaluation in Waldorf Early Childhood Education is full of time-tested advice and encouragement for schools wishing to implement or strengthen their professional evaluation process. Chapters cover the question of why to conduct a review, as well as obstacles and hindrances.

This practical book also includes checklists and forms for the mentor and evaluator in an appendix of helpful resources.
