Description
Among the many meditative exercises shared by Rudolf Steiner, one of the more significant ones is the Rose Cross meditation. With the help of this exercise, which features a black cross with seven red roses symbolising purification and inner transformation, individuals can take their first steps on the path that leads to higher consciousness and awareness of the spiritual world.
In this collection of insightful essays, Anna-Katharina Dehmelt, an experienced teacher and practitioner of meditation, provides clear and detailed steps on how to work with the Rose Cross. Her practical advice expands on Rudolf Steiner’s often sparse instructions and offers readers a helpful guide through the meditation.
Dehmelt also describes other, simpler exercises that Steiner gave to help with concentration and inner equilibrium, and draws on her own experience to offer advice on how to overcome distractions.
This fascinating book will be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about the anthroposophical path of meditation and how to begin, and will provide insight and encouragement to those already familiar with it.
