We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Saltire Society’s annual Scottish Publisher of the Year Award for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n

Floris was named runner-up in last year’s awards, the inaugural year, which are run by the Saltire Society<\/a> and funded by Creative Scotland<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year Floris have been shortlisted with fellow Scottish Publishers Backpage Press<\/a>, Birlinn<\/a>, Bright Red Publishing<\/a>, Freight Books<\/a> and Sandstone Press<\/a>, each of which have had brilliant achievements in the last year. We are thrilled to be in their company and look forward to the announcement of the winner\u00a0on 11th November at a special awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will also announce the winners of the Saltire Society’s many other prestigious awards including First Book of the Year, Literary Book of the Year and History Book of the Year.<\/p>\n

We’re very proud to be shortlisted for such a wonderful award. It is a great testament to the hard-work and dedication of our talented authors, illustrators and staff.<\/p>\n
