Frédérique Guéret also shows how the stars can be painted with additional colour accents which, when the light shines through in a certain way, create a dazzling veined effect.

There are nice clear instructions for twenty five different stars and when you put them up at the window the effect is lovely. I really enjoyed creating lots of different designs. Frédérique Guéret was born in France in 1949. After completing her art training, she developed her own method of paper-folding with tissue paper and first published her window transparencies in 1999.
