Description

There are around 1.6 million species of plants and animals on the earth, and almost 900,000 of them are insects. The Organic Bug Book is an intelligent and entertaining resource for children to get to know the insect world better, and become involved in what goes on in their own gardens and backyards.

In colourful pictures and simple text, Chris Korrow helps children and their parents understand the place of bugs in our world, how vital they are to our environment, and the issues with pesticides. Mainly he encourages children to spend time in their own gardens, watching what bugs do and how that affects our surroundings.

Suitable for children aged roughly five to ten years old.
